After spending the week in HOT Las Vegas for the WSOP, I can tell you that poker is alive and well all over the city. The WSOP is bringing in as many players (or more) as it ever has and I played tournaments over the course of the week at the Venetian, Rio, Mirage, Caesar’s Palace, Treasure Island, Bellagio, and the Aria, with great turn outs everywhere I went.
Excellent prize pools abound, if you have not been to Vegas for the 2011 WSOP, there is still some time left and even if you are not going to play an event, there are tournaments everywhere else.
